What a grand hand painted Nippon set just in time for summer backyard parties! This is a beautiful lemonade set, containing a large pitcher and five cups. Each one is marked Hand Painted Nippon on the bottom and I have been told that it is a vintage set, though I do not know for certain. They DO have the appearance of being vintage as the gold accents seem to be worn from age and use. Each one showcases magnificent large pink roses in various shades of pink.
The background colors are a mix of soft pale tans and creamy whites. The rims feature hand painted squiggly black lines along with gold accents. Gold highlights are also found on the handles.
The large, squatty pitcher stands a little over 6" tall x 9" from spout to handle. The cups stand 4" tall. All are in fabulous condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Just slight gold wear is all that I see.
